The Associated Press reports that Doug Emhoff, the husband of U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, recently took his campaign of sorts against anti-Semitism to the United Nations, urging diplomats from many nations to speak out against the rising global hatred of Jews and stressing: “Silence is not an option.”

The Jewish Emhoff said that those who don’t speak out should be called out, and there must be “consequences” for all those engaged in anti-Semitism. Continuing with these threats, he said, “We need to make clear to the haters, the antisemites [sic] out there that there is no safe harbor for them anywhere.”

U.S. Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield led to the event on “Globalizing Efforts to Combat Antisemitism” in the U.N. Economic and Social Council chamber. It was co-hosted by Argentina, Canada, Israel, Morocco and the United Kingdom.

Thomas-Greenfield pointed to an upsurge in anti-Semitism and anti-Semitic attacks around the world, saying this hatred, both in person and online, “is being stoked not only by extremist groups but also by mainstream political leaders, popular celebrities and people in positions of power.” And we wouldn’t want people not approved by the Jews in power, would we now? In tackling this supposed upsurge, Emhoff said President Joe Biden and vice-president Harris “have made revitalizing our partnerships and alliances a priority, and that extends to fighting hate and antisemitism.” In distinguishing hate from anti-Semitism, Emhoff undoubtedly accepts the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism, which declares the Word of God to be anti-Semitic.

“This moment requires bold collective action and urgency, not just words, not just concepts,” he told the U.N. diplomats. “And I know we will meet this moment together.” We truly should have no doubt that the U.N. will “meet this moment” in support of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
